Values & clear direction – Clarifying what drives and motivates your work, what feeling valued looks like, and the impact that matters most. Establishing a clear foundation for aligned career decisions.
Strengths & experience – Identifying your unique strengths and recognising the full depth and breadth of experience. Bringing this together into a clear and credible sense of your value on offer.
Confidence & self-belief – Reframing self-doubt and strengthening belief in existing capabilities. Building a more grounded and resilient confidence to support change.
Exploring new opportunities – Translating values, strengths and direction into real-world career options — identifying aligned roles, sectors and ways of working through focused research and meaningful conversations.
Positioning & narrative – Crafting a compelling narrative that connects your experience, strengths and future direction — enabling confident, authentic communication in applications, conversations and interviews.
Your way forward - Shaping a grounded and practical path forward with targeted guidance across applications, interview preparation, and navigating the hiring process.
Pathfinder provides a clear structure for change while remaining flexible to your individual needs and priorities.

Explore Some of the Common Career Change Coaching Questions My Clients Ask
-
By the time people come to me, they often describe feeling stuck or frustrated in their current role, unsure whether the problem is the job itself or something deeper. You might recognise some of the signs: you've started to dread Mondays, lost confidence in your abilities, or can't decide whether to stay or leave your current role.
Many clients also describe feeling overwhelmed by what to do next. They want change but don't know where to start, feel torn between several directions, or need clarity on what's right for them. Coaching can help when you're struggling to find that clarity and momentum, providing the space and structure to unpack your thoughts, explore new possibilities and take confident, practical steps forward.
-
No, absolutely not. Many of my clients come to coaching knowing that something needs to change, but without knowing what they want to do next. The Pathfinder programme is designed for exactly that starting point. We begin by exploring your values, strengths, what you enjoy and what gives you energy, before looking at possible directions. You don't need to arrive with the answer. Working that out is part of the process.
-
Up to a point, and always as part of the bigger picture. I’m not a recruiter or a CV writing service, but once you are clear on the direction you want, I’ll help you recognise and articulate your transferable skills and experience so that your CV, your LinkedIn profile and the way you talk about yourself in interviews all tell the same credible story.
Where it is useful, we’ll prepare for specific interviews and milestone meetings, so you can go in able to say what you bring with authenticity and confidence. If you are earlier than that and still weighing up whether a coach can help with a job search at all, I have answered that in my FAQs.

A Focus Session (£150) can work well if you have one specific challenge or decision you'd like to work through. Momentum (£400, three sessions) suits a more focused goal or when you already have some sense of direction. If you'd like more time and structure to explore what you want next and how to get there, Pathfinder (£720, six sessions) offers a structured approach to the career change process.
Some clients like the structure of a programme, while others prefer a more flexible approach shaped around what comes up as we work together. My programmes provide a framework rather than a formula, and the coaching journey is always shaped around your individual goals, circumstances and what you need most from our sessions.
If you're unsure which approach would suit you best, the free discovery call gives us the opportunity to explore what you'd like to focus on and identify the best way for me to support you.
-
Career coaching sessions run for 60 minutes and are shaped around your goals and what you want to achieve. If you're following one of my coaching programmes, we'll use that as a framework while keeping the flexibility to focus on what's most useful to you in each session. For example, Pathfinder explores your values, strengths, what you enjoy, confidence, possible career directions and practical next steps.
I'll both support and challenge you, helping you explore your thinking and turn it into practical steps. Between sessions, I'll often share relevant articles, podcasts, exercises or other resources, and you can contact me by email or WhatsApp.
-
Every coaching journey is different, depending on your goals and the depth of change you're looking to achieve. Many clients find the greatest benefit when we work together for six sessions or more, as this gives us time to build momentum, explore challenges in more depth, and turn your thinking into action.
That said, I take a flexible approach, from a focused single session to longer coaching partnerships that can run over several months or more. Sessions can take place weekly or every two to three weeks, depending on what works best for you. I generally recommend keeping them within this timeframe to maintain momentum while giving you enough time to reflect and take action between sessions. We'll shape the number and pace of sessions around your goals, circumstances and schedule.
