Background

Following a strong desire to work in theatre, I trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama as a stage manager and went on to work full-time for three award-winning global brand experience agencies before taking the leap into the freelance world as a producer for over twenty years.

From producing events for world-leading brands to collaborating with creative thinkers and technical experts, I gained first-hand experience of the multiple challenges that businesses and individuals face, and how deep they have to dig to deliver on killer briefs, so they emerge to see another day!

Variety in my work and being in a creative environment was key for me. I enjoyed the camaraderie and can-do attitude that prevails in the industry and there is nothing like the buzz of the audience walking into an auditorium with the crew standing-by to deliver a great experience. There’s no denying though that the hours were often brutal, and deadlines were ever-present.

I was used to stress being part of my work and I always knew the importance of nurturing a great team to be at your side. The world of brand experiential events, though always challenging, is nothing short of amazing.

And Now

A few years ago, a colleague who was also a coach provided coaching to me, which sparked a transformative realisation. It was time for a change.

I started to imagine a different future with a meaning and purpose relevant to the person I had grown into today - aligned with my strengths, skills and creativity.

It was about this time that I joined Samaritans as a listening volunteer and later as deputy director for recruitment, an immensely positive experience that set the foundation for my journey into coaching.

During my coaching training and self-exploration, I began to look closely at my own values and started to align my life with what truly mattered to me. This was an eye-opening revelation that set me on a path of personal growth and service to others.

In 2022 I founded the Life Lessons for Change workshops for Surrey women, offering affordable, friendly, and inclusive group coaching to the community.

As a coach, I find immense joy in supporting others to make positive changes in their lives. I am based in Send in Surrey, just outside of London.

I work with individual coaching clients and also facilitate the ‘Connect, Reflect & Grow’ workplace wellbeing programme.

 My approach

I collaborate with committed clients who are ready to make changes and push out of their comfort zone; keen to reshape their world and find happiness and fulfillment in their lives and careers.

My approach is straight-talking, warm and genuine. I like to make the coaching experience fun and varied also. I often share tools and strategies to support your journey and aim that you always get the most from your financial and time investment.

As your coach, I will both challenge and support you, in a way those closest to you never could. You will be front and centre of our work together and I will guide you to feel empowered to make courageous decisions and live a productive, more successful life.

Coaching sessions can take place via Zoom, over the phone or where possible face-to-face.
